The exercises shown will help you to develop confidence in your horse plus ground manors as well. The exercises relate to what happens in the saddle as well. Course Content Ground Work (VIDEO) See if you can rub your horse all over. Are you able to rub your horse with a flag at a stand still? Are you able to rub your horse with a flag while they are in motion? Can you get your horse to circle around you and drift the hindquarters to the outside? Can you move the forequarters around in a full circle? Can you back your horse up using either the lead rope or from the halter? Are you able to sit on the fence and have your horse sidle up to the fence and then be able to rub them with your flag or leg.
