Aust – Qld – Colt Starting

This is a course for those that are wanting to start their own horse and ideally have already had some exposure to colt starting. The course is a 4 day course and includes ground work preparation for saddling and riding. Learning to trailer load your horse and setting your horse up for the first ride will benefit riders beyond the first ride.

While many are not wanting to become professional colt starters, ( Colt starting is a generic term for young horses ),  what you learn as a result of doing a colt starting course, is a tremendous help in understanding the challenges that many riders face in their everyday horsemanship.
